After 11+ years we have developed a niche. A style that quilters have come to recognize as they step into our booth at quilt shows.
For those of you that have stumbled upon this page...we LOVE bleached and unbleached muslin. Even Civil War fabrics are mixed with lots of shirtings and unbleached muslin backgrounds, so they are more "shabby chic"...so the sludgy colors are softened, lightened, and cozy.
But if you prefer smaller projects, check out our Sweet Confections...25+ mini projects that measure no more than 13 x 13 inches...all are precut and include the pattern, backing and binding. Some of the minis even include applique, embroidery, cross-stitch, or Brazilian embroidery to help you hone your skills or try something new!
Since the popularity of precuts, we have started putting together Parade Candy...8--fat 16ths folded and tied to look like a star...and then after being asked what to make with the cute little bundles. We started the line Parade Candy Projects and are currently up to 9.
Our storefront is open Monday through Saturday, so be sure to stop by and take a look at our finished Lucy Boston Patchwork of the Crosses, Dear Jane, Sylvia's Bridal Sampler, Double Wedding Ring, and our Jelly Garden quilt that uses 1 inch hexies, a jelly roll, and background.
(Yes...I love EPP and am always thinking up a new projects. Right now I am collecting French General to make the Jane Austen Coverlet.)
As my EPP branches out, we'll add new papers to the shoppe.
As for the future...we want to tackle the Farmer's Wife quilts (both civil war and 30's), Farm Girl Vintage, and I have some vintage yoyo flowers I want to put together.
